A BBC trained journalist, Liz began her career writing for The Guardian in the UK, before honing her storytelling chops at ITV and later at the UK’s largest commercial broadcaster, Sky. It was at Sky, that Liz specialized in documentaries and won the Mercury Award for her California campaign. During her tenure at Sky, Liz also created and showran the hit series The Guestlist which ran for 5 seasons on Sky Movies and Sky 1.

 

Recently she had the privilege of working on a documentary feature for and about the maverick director Werner Herzog, which debuted at the Telluride Film Festival. A seasoned professional, Liz has a great eye for a narrative and the ability to chase a story and sculpt it into powerful TV. She has served as a committee member, judge and mentor for BAFTA LA, as a judge for the British Video Association and a speaker for the Producers Guild and is a member of the Television Academy’s Documentary Peer Group.
 

Outside of her professional work, Liz has acted as an advocate for conditions including Cystic Fibrosis and Multiple Sclerosis - both which have special and personal resonance to her.


Dedicated to mentoring and nurturing the success of newcomers in the industry, Liz has made it her mission to help new talent, particularly from less privileged backgrounds to navigate the often-competitive terrain of the entertainment industry.

 

Accomplished across a wide range of genres, Liz's work spans Entertainment, News, Factual, True Crime, Observational Documentaries and Reality.

 

Determined and creative, she is skilled to work to the tightest deadlines and budgets to produce slick, high spec TV.
